This was my second stay at the hostel, and this time, I chose to go with the Standard+ option, which gives you a room in the upper levels with amazing view of the city center. Based on location, and the lobby, it's very easy to forget that this is a hostel and not a hotel. As such, it lacks amenities you would expect from a hotel, such as TV in rooms, room service or the fact that you will need to make your own bed. A breakfast buffet is available for additional cost, but you also have access to facilities if you prefer to cook your own meal or do your own laundry. Perfect for backpackers, families or visitors who don't mind the work and want to save some money. Because considering location, view, and service, the prices are unbeatable by any hotel. So the question is really what are you willing to forgo in order to save money. Personally I don't mind the lack of TV or room service, so the fact that 3 nights stay costed me less than what nearby hotels charge per night, I feel it was worth it. Highly recommended and will return next time I need to get into the office for a few days and just need a bed to crash for the night.

My family and I (kids 9 and 11) stayed here for a few nights and had a great experience. The rooms were nice enough, and having a big communal kitchen was as perfect. The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was definitely cheaper than other options that were in the same geographic area. It was great to be able to walk everywhere. We were on the 15th floor and had a great view of Tivoli Gardens. On Fridays during the summer there is live music at Tivoli which is easily heard if you’re staying on that side of the building. It probably finished around 23:00 or so. Didn’t really bother us, but if you’re looking for better sleep on Fridays, maybe request a room on the water side of the hostel.

Amazing hostel in every aspect. Rooms are reasonably spacious with amazing views. The bathrooms and lockers are in separate room than the bedsm the isles have small balconies with views. So it doesn't feel congested. Sufficient ameneties in terms of games... Bar is nice. Service was excellent

Literally the best hostel ever, the service was good and the people were too nice, i remember i had an issue with my booking but they helped me get over it smoothly and nicely, it was so kind and i'm planning on coming back many times again. Such a good vibe, thanks to all the staff and services!

The Danhostel Copenhagen City was the perfect choice for my short summer break. For a low-budget backpacker, the accommodation is very affordable given the Danish price level. The location is superb: the hostel is right in the city center, yet the interior is very friendly, absolutely quiet, and allowed for extensive rest. A big thank you to the staff, who were very kind and provided me with valuable sightseeing tips. I would definitely book here again for my next trip to Copenhagen.

Nice, clean room with a perfect view. We stayed in a not shared room with a private bathroom which was great, breakfast was tasty, location is good, close to city center even by foot, close to a shopping mall, train station, easy to get to from the airport, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this place. 😊 The only unpleasant thing was that the last morning of our stay it was quite noisy oitside of our room and even in the room next door and it woke us up at 6:30 which you don't really want on a holiday. But that was the fault of the other guests, not the accommodation.

Very basic, minimalist rooms. Great location and view. Close to the city center. Good breakfast. Good as a hostel but you can also get a private room or family apartment. Has laundry facilities for those in need while traveling. Not the quietest place and is quite busy. Only paid parking nearby. They do not offer any free parking area. Pay using Easypark. Very close to Tivoli Gardens.

Great location for Tivoli gardens. Rooms are basic and you have to make up the beds on arrival. Pillows are poor. Good shower and comfy bed. All you need for a comfortable stay. It is very good value. Breakfast was great too. Bar was brilliant with good beer plus a selection free bar games.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place was very clean, comfortable, and had such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was also great, making it easy to explore the area. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hostel to others!
