For centuries now, the local Mykonian caiques have serviced the route from Mykonos to Delos and from Delos to Mykonos, as there was never a connection between Delos and Piraeus. Since the end of the 19th century, when the systematic archaeological excavation started, the trips over to the island have become more frequent.

The boat ride can be bumpy but very worth it, especially in April/May when the wild flowers are in bloom. A great spot to witness ancients ruins and get a little fitness in if desired.

Awesome prehistoric ruins, very raw and natural. Great and knowledgeable guide through out tour. Took the 1700 for the sunset on our way back, beautiful!!!

Great excursion with very knowledgeable, English-fluent guide. Highly recommended. It was very windy so be sure to have windbreaker, shades and a cap. If you are prone to motion sickness also take a preventive medicine before boarding the ferry. Just had a bad experience of one tour guide just went in front of us at the line at the ticketing booth without any excuse or apology. I hope they would respect us tourist.

boat trip to Delos where you can really see Ancient Greece town and all the other artifacts that were around then including an open air theatre. Mosaic floors, pots, water wells and irrigation systems. Short ferry ride from Mykonos old port and small fe to get in but worth it all. We’ll recommend 🍺

We took the last boat tour of the day before sunset, and this was the perfect time to visit. The boat was full out on the deck, but there are plenty of seats inside and it didn't seem busy once we arrived. We paid the entrance fee and opted to navigate the site by ourselves. It would have been better having a knowledgeable guide and this option is available, but we got to see more without one, and managed to find the time to add in the short hike to the top of the stairs (a must if you get the chance, as the views are spectacular). The island in itself is very beautiful and the ruins of the ancient city are definitely worth the visit. My husband, who wasn't particularly keen on the trip, ended up enjoying the whole experience more than me! The sunsetting across the Aegean and onto the island made it all the more magical.

Recommend booking with get your guide to get the audio tour and includes ur ticket to the archaeological sites and museum. Also be prepared as it a remote island, need to pack water, sunscreen and hats. Its a very historical sacred place with a lot of history as Delos island is birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and home to the Naxos Lions!

Unique experience that got us out of our comfort zone. The 10 AM trip was nice, a bit crowded. We enjoyed the ride. We payed 22€/person + 8€ admission fee. Upon arrival we had to wait on a line but you can “skip” the line if you pay cash. Have a wonderful day in Delos!

The overall tour was good for the price. The tour guide provides some historical context and details of the area after which they give the guests ample time to explore the island in their own. The boat provided water for purchase which was immensely helpful during a hot day. Take evening tour at 5pm if you don’t care for the afternoon heat. It will still be hot, but not as hot as the noon sun.

One of the coolest things I've ever had the chance to do! We bought two premium tickets, which is the boat there and back, admission, and skipping a line, plus a guided tour. The tour guide was great. The sights were ...breathtaking. Stirring. If you don't come away fascinated the ancient Greece, then you weren't paying attention!
