About

Copenhagen’s leading science centre, brings science to life through hands‑on, playful exploration across three indoor floors and a rooftop. Housed in a stunning CEBRA, designed building featuring a spectacular copper helix staircase, this world‑class venue invites curious visitors of all ages to learn through movement, wonder and interactive exhibits, making science feel like pure fun.
Step inside Experimentarium and ignite your curiosity with themed zones that seamlessly blend tactile learning and immersive design. Climb the iconic DNA‑inspired copper spiral staircase to discover dynamic exhibitions: challenge your senses in the Tunnel of Senses, create enormous soap bubbles in the Bubblearium, and dive into water chemistry in The Beach. Thrill‑seekers can leap into motion‑based cinema in the Interactive Film Theatre, while the Port zone showcases global trade using the world’s largest interactive ball track—with a lesson in CO₂ impact. Little explorers aged 1–5 can roam freely in the Miniverse, while older kids and adults tackle puzzles in Circus Physicus, the Labyrinth of Light, and Under Your Skin. Beyond exploring, you can unwind in the café or picnic area, browse the science shop, and enjoy panoramic views from the rooftop terrace (open seasonally). With bilingual instructions, accessible facilities, and a mission centered on playful learning, Experimentarium offers engaging, memorable moments for families, students, and science lovers alike.
