Really great hotel - the rooms are clean, neighborhood is quiet, staff is very helpful and polite, breakfast has a decent variety for its price, and most importantly it’s 5 minutes away from the central station. It also has a lovely terrace where i would imagine it’s lovely to eat breakfast / have a coffee, however it was pretty cold in late September when we visited so we didn’t use it.

A great hotel. Spotlessly clean and modern, well furnished rooms. Not too expensive. Great location though a little bit dodgier than the rest of Copenhagen, especially at night. Staff couldn’t be friendlier especially the tall man behind front desk. Breakfast good. Courtyard area nice and free luggage storage, with lockers for valuables at 30DKK.

I had a delightful 3 night stay at Hotel Ansgar. I booked the smallest room and it was the perfect size for me and had all the amenities I needed. It was impeccably clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and the daily breakfast is super convenient (and delicious). The location is quite honestly perfect — just around the corner from the metro station, and only a 5 minute walk to Tivoli and the Glyptotek. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly front desk. Super clean everywhere. Amazing breakfast…..I mean like insane amount of options. Rooms were comfy. We stayed in a triple and had plenty of room. Great beds. Great pillows, great shower. The best part was the location. Steps from main metro station. I recommend this hotel.

Thanks a lot to all the staff of the Go Hotel Ansgar, a very joyfull stay and really lovely people. We really enjoy all the services and the help offered by the staff and the accessibility of the place, almost literraly next door from the central station. Place is perfectly situated next to Tivoli and from there next to dowtosn Copenhagen. It's a pleasure for me to recommend Go Hotel Ansgar if you search a good quality/price ration in Copenhagen with good advices from the staff. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay so joyfull.

If you’re in search of a hotel that combines convenience and comfort, look no further! This gem is just a short walk from the train station and conveniently located near a variety of attractions and restaurants. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by how attentive and friendly the staff are, always ready to assist with any needs. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are impeccably clean and cozy. One of the standout features is the serene atmosphere—prepare for a surprisingly quiet stay free from noise disturbances. This hotel truly offers a delightful experience!

Very friendly staff and affordable. Handy location right at the metro station exit and very close to the central railway station. Only downside is that it is not overly accessible as the elevator stop between levels. I can see wheel chair users having a hard time.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ansgar. Staff were super friendly and was the perfect location close to the train station and metro. Small single room had everything I needed, the bed was comfortable and the window opened for fresh air. Was reasonably priced for the location. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, beautifully clean throughout, very comfy beds, super friendly staff, excellent buffet style breakfast, great location for the city centre/trains/metro. Room was small but had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Location: Perfect. the area felt safe, it was a calm location and super close to a metro/train station, so you can get anywhere you need. Rooms: Quite small, but it was used only for sleeping purposes and that's what this Hotel does perfectly. The rooms were clean with everyday cleaning service. The room had table with chairs, and enough shelves for clothes and toiletries. The breakfast was fine. At first I thought they are quite pricey, but when we found out the actual prices in restaurants/fast foods, the breakfast is your best bet for the first half of the day. Flexible time for check-in and check-out. We came to the hotel to check in at midnight and check-out at 3:00 AM and there were no problems. The reception had staff at all times. Functional TV with only Danish channels.
