Hotel grotto is near the port and has beautiful views of the water. We were welcomed and given drinks and a snack on the house. They knew it was our anniversary and even gave us a bottle of wine and note. They went above and beyond during our stay ensuring we were comfortable and helped arrange a ride to the port for our baggage when we left. I will definitely book here again when we visit Naxos. Also, the breakfast is really good with many different options on the buffet. I highly recommend and couldn’t believe how inexpensive the hotel was based on all of our amenities. Thank you Hotel Grotta for a wonderful stay. Blessings to you all and wish your business well.

Such a great place to land on Noxos! The service is authentic, warm, and super helpful. The breakfast is the most delicious, homemade, and fresh I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The sauna is an added bonus. They also provide free shuttle service to and from the ferry with the sweetest driver. All of the details are just right. Very grateful!

This place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast is a cornucopia of local dishes cooked on site. The views are breathtaking. The room was small but had everything we needed. We stayed 3 night and loved every minute. I give this place a hearty two thumbs up. I hope we can come back some time.

It was perfect, I have no complaints. The spa is very well organized so that you are not bothered by other people/couples. The breakfast was very good and they procured gluten free items for me. They gave us a free drink on arrival and a bit of food (we were starving a bit after a long trip). They also gave us excellent tips on what to see on the island. I recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Grotta. The breakfast Is absolutely amazing and caters for all dietary requirements. The spa is lovely and a good way to have some relaxing time. The view from our balcony was incredible, such a beautiful sunset over the temple of Apollo! The service is so friendly and the staff is very attentive to all the guests needs. Would recommend and return as it's a great value!

We had the best stay here. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfasts were some of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The spa and rooftop deck were lovely as well. We stayed here in October and rented a car, and it was never hard to find a spot to parallel park near the hotel. I can't think of anything I would change. It was a great home base for exploring Naxos and I would love to stay at Hotel Grotta again if I return.

From the moment we arrived until the sad moment we had to leave, our experience at Hotel Grotta was truly perfect. This isn't just a hotel; it feels like stepping into a warm and welcoming home, and it's all thanks to the remarkably friendly staff. I genuinely mean all of them. Every single person we encountered, from the reception to the breakfast team, went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. They constantly checked in on us, always with a genuine smile and a desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It felt so personal and truly made all the difference. And speaking of comfort, I have to say this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, and this is not an exaggeration. Every corner, every surface, sparkled. It was truly impressive and added so much to the feeling of relaxation and well-being. Our room was wonderfully spacious, and waking up to the gorgeous ocean view was an absolute treat. Our peaceful balcony, overlooking the charming town, was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink. Hotel Grotta's location is fantastic, with Naxos town just a short walk away. It's worth noting that the path down is a rather rocky path along the beach, and while it's only about a 5-minute walk, it might be a little challenging for older individuals or those with limited mobility. However, the proximity to town was very convenient for us. Now, let's talk about the breakfast – prepare to be amazed! It was hands down the largest hotel breakfast I have ever seen. The spread was delightful, featuring a wonderful array of local pastries, savory pies, delicious cakes, fresh vegetables, and a wide assortment of juices, coffees, and other drinks. It truly felt like someone had lovingly prepared this feast specifically for the hotel guests. This wasn't your typical, mass-produced hotel breakfast; it felt homemade and incredibly thoughtful, further reinforcing the feeling of being welcomed into someone's home. The free transfers to the port were also an absolute lifesaver and a testament to Hotel Grotta's commitment to guest convenience. Hotel Grotta is truly a gem. It's so different from the impersonal, corporate feel of many other hotels. It felt like the owners and staff genuinely care about their guests and have poured their heart into creating a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to this exceptional hotel on our next visit to Naxos. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Amazing hotel, with friendly and extremely helpful staff (particularly Connie and Constantina deserve mentioning). Breakfast - simply one of the best smorgasbord you’ll find anywhere. The chef makes fresh offerings that change everyday, and ensures a sample is left in your room for an afternoon snack! Who does that? Rooms are also kept well cleaned. The spa area (free but requires a booking for a 30 minute slot) is amazing. Truly exceptional hotel at a great price when we visited. Highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend Hotel Grotta to anyone visiting Naxos! A short walk to the town, it was charming atop a hill. The balcony and view was a dream. Everyone was so hospitable with smiles from the beginning. A plus point that ferry port and airport transfers are provided too. The breakfast every morning was a spread — Greek yoghurt with various marmalades and honey — as well as many pastries and dessert. Enjoyed the facilities like indoor pool, hot tub and steam room.
