Step into the heart of Milos at Kostantakis Estate, Pollonia’s first winery, founded in 2013. Set inside a stunning natural volcanic cave and surrounded by vineyards of native Cycladic grapes, the estate combines breathtaking scenery with exceptional wine-making. Thanks to the cave’s naturally stable temperature, every bottle reflects the island’s unique terroir. Explore the volcanic cellar, stroll through sun-kissed vineyards, and savor wines crafted with passion and tradition.

Vines grown in the volcanic, porous soil of Milos under warm and dry climate conditions. Wine stored in an underground labyrinth which provides the needed humidity and steady, cool temperature. The whitewashed Kostantakis “Spilia” (Cave) opens its wooden doors and welcomes you to try its new production of uniquely flavored wines.

A charming family run winery that produces about 15,000 bottles per year, our winery staff member (Irenia) was very knowledgeable about the wineries history and the processes used by the winemakers. It was really interesting to see the caves where they keep their wines and more interesting to know that they do not export their wines nor sell them outside of Milos. We tried the Retsina which people do not like due to the resin and pine taste; however, this one actually tasted nice and felt like a little Christmas in your mouth, without feeling too strong. A wine tasting was €15 each. Would recommend!

It's a totally different and worthed activity while in Milos. Formidable place, very informative tour, interesting and tasty! George was a great guide and the wines were authentic. I'm so glad I did it.

This winery is gorgeous. They have amazing wines. My wife did the white tasting, and I did the red tasting. I definitely recommend that. We were able to do a tasting without a reservation, but you definitely need a reservation to do a tour. The staff was great and very knowledgeable.

A very uplifting experience to get a sense of the patience and passion that goes into running a small winery. The guide talked honestly and informatively about the ups and downs of winemaking leaving you with the understanding that wine is more than a final polished product - this made us cherish their wine successes and also taste the imperfect with an open mind / palate. I personally liked the taste of all the wines and the accompanying food was nice as well

A must-do experience when visiting Milos! We absolutely fell in love with this island—and these wines even more! We loved them so much, we couldn’t resist bringing a few bottles back to Australia 🥰 The tour by George was incredibly informative and offered fascinating insights into the intricacies of winemaking in Milos. This family-run vineyard is doing an outstanding job, and we’re so grateful for the time we spent there. An unforgettable day!

Great experience!! The tour was well informative, we visited different parts of the winery and learned about all the stages of a wine’s production and the wines during the tasting. George and the vibe of the winery created a relaxed, friendly environment.

Top notch experience in Milos! George was so engaging and truly loves what he does! The tour was very informational and the presentations of the wines (6 heavy pours) and the snacks was great! Sitting at the tables outside the cave just enjoying the ambiance is a perfect way to relax for the evening in Milos!

This was one of my favorite spots in Milos. It is a unique setting at a family run winery. We walked in and were seated at a table for a tasting with two people but I would recommend a reservation for a larger party. They were very knowledgeable and described each wine in great detail. The tasting was very reasonably priced and even came with a small cheese board that was surprisingly very good as well. We enjoyed the wine so much we bought a bottle to bring home.

Kostantakis Cave Winery is a must-visit while in Milos. We did the full winery tour and tasting, and it was one of my favorite activities during my stay on the island. Jorge gave us an in-depth overview of Kostantakis’ history as a family-owned winery, the wine-making process, the challenges of growing grapes in a hot dry climate, and more. The wines we tried were all delicious and the pours were very generous. We learned that Kostantakis does not distribute its wine beyond Milos and is the only winery on the island, which makes it extra special. We bought a bottle of orange wine to take with us. Highly recommend visiting and supporting this business.

A must when visiting Milos. The wines are exceptional and the tour is very informative, interesting, and personal. Great story of a small family owned winery. The tasting pours are extremely generous. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back for an evening glass of wine.
