Steeped in local history, Lodge Narlis offers an enchanting seaside stay on the golden sands of Platis Gialos beach in Sifnos. Originally built around 1900 as a traditional "tsikalario" pottery workshop, the property has been thoughtfully converted into a charming complex of rental rooms and apartments.

Today, it beautifully merges its authentic architectural heritage with relaxing, unpretentious comfort right next to the shore.The lodging features six uniquely designed accommodations decorated with handcrafted ceramics that honor the family's artistic tradition. Mornings begin with a rich, wholesome breakfast highlighting fresh, organic raw materials sourced straight from the family farm. Guests can unwind on peaceful verandas overlooking the Aegean Sea, enjoy a drink at the seaside café, or explore excellent nearby coastal tavernas.

Beautiful place on the beach With clean and spacious rooms that has amazing view Coffee is great too The owners are very friendly and helpful Will come back for sure next year Thanks a lot for a relaxed vacation with the kids

First time here and loved it. If I ever go back I'm staying at Lodge Narlis. Nothing fancy but wow!!! Scenery and breakfast were great.

A unique gem on the beach… We were so lucky to find this unique little place on the beach in Platys Gialos, owned & run by the lovely, warm and friendly couple Effie and Giannis. Built originally as a working pottery in the olden days it has been lovingly transformed into a few very comfortable rooms and an apartment. Our room, Frini, on the ground floor, was just perfect. Beautiful vines and bougianvillea cascading over the terrace, nicely appointed, comfortable bed, fridge, kettle and enough utensils to make a light breakfast/lunch if you wish. However, during the day they have a small café on the premises which serves delicious breakfast, drinks and snacks, we highly recommend this. Platys Gialos has some excellent restaurants, all on the beach. Nearby Apollonia, the charming capital town of Sifnos is definitely worth a visit in the evening for some shopping and yummy food. As Sifnos is historically famous for ceramics, we were lucky to be able to attend a workshop hosted by Giannis & Effie on their farm not far from the town of Apollonia. We proudly left with our hand painted vessels and a sense of achievement. If you want to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea and get an authentic Greek experience, this is an ideal location for you. We will be back…

Lodge Narlis is a haven of tranquility, friendliness and cleanliness. The hosts Giannis and Effie have a quiet and a friendly efficiency providing comfortable and clean rooms with delicious food and drinks right beside the beautiful Aegean sea. A place to definitely return to.

We absolutely loved it here. Excellent location, and the staff were super helpful! I wish I could remember the guys name, but he really went above and beyond! We only stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed longer.

Amazing location, great room, daily clean!! Best choice on the island. They also offer free sunbeds. They also have great breakfast! Their prices are also great. The only problem we had was that the fridge did not work, but they offered us to use their own so the problem was solved! I highly recommend it and if we would visit the island again, this would be the place we would stay

Slice of heaven in Sifnos! Perfect place to base yourself in Sifnos, beautiful clean rooms just steps from the sea. Great restaurants nearby but the NUS restaurant onsite is the best! The staff were really friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit on the island. Highly recommend
