Amazing museum on the seaside outside of Copenhagen with both a modern collection, contemporary exhibitions and of course a wonderful sculpture garden of Calder, Moore, Ernst etc. Very impressive, great food in the museum café and nice shop. Tickets are expensive but worth the visit.

Great museum right on the water with one permanent exhibit and 3-4 temporary exhibitions. All are very well curated and presented. Plan on spending at least a few hours here. And don't forget to walk through the gardens and enjoy the sculptures, quietness, and ocean view. They also have a really great restaurant. The only negative was that it took a while to get a parking spot. If you can take public transport.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The Louisiana Museum isn’t just about the art (which is amazing, by the way), it’s about the whole feeling of being there — the way the galleries open up to the sea, the sculptures scattered through the gardens, the quiet moments you find just walking around. It feels peaceful and inspiring at the same time. I loved how the museum mixes big, famous artists with work I’d never seen before. And the café — seriously, sitting there with a coffee looking out over the water felt like a little dream. If you’re anywhere near Copenhagen, you have to go. It’s the kind of place you’ll keep thinking about long after you leave. Ps. My wife cried for how beautiful it was.

A must see for tourists 👍 Best museum of modern art in Denmark 😁🇩🇰 Beautifully located in Humlebæk, on the coast of Nivå Bay. If you want peace and quiet to study the art, it is recommended to visit the museum on working days. You can buy your ticket online beforehand to avoid a queue. Easy access by the train from Copenhagen to Elsinore.

One of my favourite museums in Denmark. It’s always very interesting and they have some exhibitions that gives you new perspectives about the world and it’s beauty and issues. Love the variety and that it’s often more sculpture and interactive art installations over images and paintings in frames only. Always happy to return.

Amazing exhibition, museum, and store! 💙 I visited on a Tuesday evening in late February, and it was perfect because there weren’t many people. However, I would love to come back during the daytime to enjoy the view and see how nature blends into the museum’s atmosphere. I also had a fantastic dinner and excellent service.

Best art museum I have ever been to. Ocean exhibition is great! Beautiful views of the seaside. Must visit when in Copenhagen (35 minutes ride with regional train).

Literally one of the most beautiful museums I have ever been to. The grounds are stunning, the building itself is a work of art. Came here on a Thursday morning right as it opened, not too large of crowds inside as everyone was outside at the sculpture park enjoying the beautiful weather. Took the train from Copenhagen was about 35 minutes. Tourists buy a train ticket they will be checking!! As a student even the student ticket price is steep but totally worth it. This museum is not to be missed!!

An impressive museum with the ocean view and outdoor art installations. Don't be fooled with the building. It looks small from the outside, but they are pretty much interconnected underground, and their collections are very diverse. It's just a short walk from the train station, and they have a very nice restaurant with an ocean view. If you like nature and art, I highly recommend this place.

It’s the most beautiful museum that we’ve ever been to. The outdoor sculpture park display all the sculptures nicely with the nature. While it’s rare that this museum has many big windows using much natural lighting for indoor exhibition as well. Highly recommend to have a meal at their cafe which you can enjoy amazing sea view that you can seldom see elsewhere. It’s our favourite museum so far.
