The word “nostos” means return to homeland, repatriation. The word nostos originated from the Greek word nostimos -which means tasty- and the word nostalgia. The philosophy is to designate Greek cuisine being inspired from tradition and local products, but also from the latest trends in global gastronomy.

Our products still have the scent of the ocean…seafood and fresh fish. Fishermen from the island supply us daily with fresh fish and lobsters. The gastronomic experience will be completed once you combine your meal with our wines that highlight even more our creations, wines chosen one by one, white, rose, red and sparkling from local producers and wineries from all of Greece. Our sommelier will help you to accompany your meal with some of the best recommended wines.

Traveling all the way from San Francisco, I had the privilege of indulging in an unforgettable culinary journey at Nostos Seafood Experience and Mangata Milos , masterfully crafted by Chef Lefteris Zafeiropoulos. Every dish was a symphony of flavors, presentation, and delight, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. The flawless service, warm hospitality, and picturesque ambiance of Mangata Milos and Nostos Seafood restaurants created a truly immersive experience. It was an incredible experience. I can say it was the best meal we had on the island. Service and flavors were top-notch in every way. The ambiance was also wonderful. Definitely a place you should try while on the island.

Great view and efficient service. Make sure you make a booking. You won’t get a walk in table easily. We had the seafood linguine and cuttle fish risotto. Both were great dishes. The service is quick, so if you want to spend some time and watch the sunset, order in incriminates.

I had a truly delightful experience at Nostos restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to details. The food was absolutely delicious – I ordered several dishes, and each one stood out for its taste and freshness. The warm atmosphere and the team’s hospitality perfectly complete the culinary experience.

We loved it here! It was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and we are so glad we decided to try it. Great service and delicious food. The calamari cacio pepe and prawn pasta were our choices after reading a few reviews and WOW, the best. The calamari was different than anything we’ve ever had. It looks like it’s a piece of fried calamari on pasta but it’s actually half of the calamari cut in pasta like strips in the sauce. Delicious!! The prawn pasta had great flavor and the prawns were huge. If we were in Milos longer we would definitely be back!

First meal in Milos, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was excellent, and the service went far beyond what I could have imagined. Truly a fantastic start to my time here. Great service from all the waiters, especially George!

We had a terrible start but it ended up becoming one of the highlights of our trip to Milos. We ordered takeaway after a long beach day — a soup and shrimp pasta — for the drive back to where we were staying, quite far from the city centre. Exhausted, we didn’t check the order carefully until we got home and realised we had been given plain pasta instead. We called the restaurant, and to our surprise, they immediately offered to drive the correct dish out to us, even though it was a 30-minute drive and delivery services aren’t common on the island. The pasta arrived still steaming hot, along with sincere apologies and a complimentary dessert. We later found out the person who delivered it was actually the owner. And the food? Absolutely incredible. The shrimp pasta was one of the best dishes we had during our entire trip. The soup and dessert were amazing too. Highly recommended for the beautiful views, great atmosphere, unbeatable flavours, and genuinely attentive service. I’ve seen some negative reviews here, but based on our experience, this restaurant truly cares about both its food and its customers.

Fantastic! One of the two best meals we had in Greece! My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic salad and shared a grilled grouper fillet. Service was excellent. The staff even showed us the fresh local fish selection inside where we could choose which one we wanted cooked. Beautiful location on the water!

We had an amazing experience at Nostos💖 Our server, Gerasimos, was incredibly friendly and passionate about his work, which made our visit even more enjoyable🙏 The beef tartare, fresh oysters🦪 grilled octopus🐙 chicken fillet🍗 cocktails🍹and complimentary dessert🥰 were all amazing. Beautiful view⛵️ lovely atmosphere, and All the staff were kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit😍 We would definitely love to come back again💖
