Complementing the dome experience are permanent exhibitions like **Cosmos**, created with 59 Productions, which delves into the Big Bang, stellar element formation, and the origin of life itself. In 2024, **Cosmic Threads** was launched, a spectacular collaboration with Tomás Saraceno that transforms the Stair Gallery into a 25m-high art‑science installation, inviting guests to reflect on humanity’s connection to the universe and climate responsibility. I’ve visited to see a movie and walk around the exhibition. The planetarium seems to be more oriented towards children, but it is also very fun for adults. Seeing a movie is definitely an experience regardless what movie you watch as the movie is being shown all around you. The exhibition is quite informative and fun

Great exhibition, you can easily spend over an hour on their premanent installation. It was much more interactive than what I expected. They have documentaries screened in a huge auditorium. There are different documentaries available during the day, almost every hour.

The building is of colossal size. There is a huge screen, it was fun to watch a movie (we got into the history of shuttles). There is also a type of computer games: try to land the ship on two engines (a nontrivial task), get a rocket from Earth to Mars (both planets move and have an attraction), assemble a satellite for different planets of the Solar system (different components are needed). This is how information is presented in a playful way.

film about universe and solar sistem in 3D is insannnneeee 😍 It was so great experience ... The theater feels like you're actually in outer space. The experience is incredible...

A fun visit to learn about space and the option to watch a movie on a very big screen. One can feel the movement on the screen. Very worthy of a visit. Fun place and the employees are friendly and professional.

Amazing planetarium within Europe! Why the rating is only 3.8?? Great architecture by a tranquil lake, best dome movie experience ive had in Europe. The art installation not that impressive/fun but the exhibition hall is informative and very engaging to all age visitors. 💯recommended!

A wonderful planetarium! The exhibition on dark matter and supernovae was fantastic. The visual effects, multimedia exhibits, and interactive displays create a unique atmosphere. Watching a film in the planetarium is a whole new dimension of movie experience.

We decided to go to the planetarium as it was a free attraction with the Copenhagen card and it did not disappoint. The shop assistant was so helpful and let us into the viewing of the film as we were a little bit late. The dome was magnificent and the film was very insightful. We then went through the exhibit after, very interactive. I would however say if you didn’t see the film and enter the dome the ticket would be a little on the expensive side however if you saw a film and the exhibit it is well worth the money. Gift shop is also very good and items for all pocket sizes.

It was not busy at all. We went during the day on Friday in January and there were only 10 people. The movie was about space and the universe. It was really good. The staff were friendly too. Very good experience.

We visited because it was included in the Copenhagen Card. The films are available in both English and Danish, so it’s a good idea to book the show in your preferred language in advance. If not, an audio guide is provided. There were plenty of interactive experiences to enjoy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for anyone interested in space.
