Central bus station. You get bus for different parts of Mykonos from here. Please note that the airport bus goes to this after passing through New port I.e. this goes only in one direction which is Fabrika > Airport > New Port.

The bus system in Mykonos is great! Goes to so many beaches! Super organized and easy to figure out. You can buy tickets downtown or on the bus if you have cash!

Since there are only 30 taxi cars on the whole island, taxis are expensive. The bus is a better way to get around the island. You need to buy tickets at the ticket counter. They only have busses to the most common beaches, but we only paid €2 per person each way. A taxi to the same destination was €20.

Central location, you can buy very fast cheap tickets and you can reach with the bus most of Mykonos beaches. Most important, you can arrive to airport with only 2 euros tickets.

Central location for everything. This is where the drivers will drop you for you to walk into town. Be careful they drive reckless near this point so keep your head on a swivel when crossing the street! It’s also taxis in this area if you need to catch one. We had a personal driver which was great!! His name was Antonis and I would def recommend his services!

Quick and easy to catch a bus to the beach. Also there are plenty of shops to grab a quick drink or bottle of water while you wait.

There are public buses to many beaches except to Super Paradise Beach. For Super Paradise you have to board a special, more expensive (€5) small bus. The bus follows a unique schedule posted on its windows. It was pretty much on time. Buses were parked neatly so it would be easy to find your bus. Drivers were very kind to us, they offered information and even agreed to drop us off near our hotel which was mid-way to their scheduled destination.

I know it is a hit and miss but for us it worked perfectly. We asked, they were helpful, the bus was on time on each way and we had no issues. the roads are pretty bumpy though.
