Kolymbithres is hands down one of the most striking beaches we’ve ever visited, and it’s a must-see when you’re in Paros. Nestled within the rugged landscape of the Paros Park, this beach is famous for its unique rock formations that create natural swimming pools. The soft golden sand contrasts beautifully with the clear, shallow waters, making it an ideal spot for families or anyone wanting to lounge by the sea in peace. The rocks, which are shaped by wind and sea over centuries, also make this place feel like a secret haven. We love how you can jump from rock to rock, or simply relax in one of the smaller coves formed between the stones.
What sets Kolymbithres apart, though, is its quiet charm. Despite its popularity, it manages to maintain a sense of tranquility, especially if you visit early in the morning or later in the evening. The beach also offers a few tavernas nearby, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and a cold drink after your swim.
