Santa Maria Beach is the quintessential summer spot on Paros, offering a little bit of everything: soft golden sand, crystal-clear water, and a laid-back vibe that attracts both locals and tourists. Whether we’re into water sports or simply want to lounge with a cocktail in hand, Santa Maria has us covered. The water here is calm and shallow, perfect for a relaxing swim, and it’s also one of the best places to try our hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing thanks to the steady summer breeze.
We personally love the energy at Santa Maria—there’s always something going on without it ever feeling overcrowded. Plus, the beach is well-equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and beachfront tavernas offering delicious Greek dishes. If we’re feeling a little more adventurous, we head further down the shore for quieter spots where we can enjoy some peace and quiet. The beach is also only a short drive from Naoussa, so it’s easy to spend the day here and then hit the charming town for dinner and drinks. Santa Maria is a true highlight of Paros, and it’s the perfect balance of relaxation and activity.
